just make sure you watch christmas vacation.... best movie by far for the holidays

I'm probably in a significant minority here but my favorite Christmas movie is It's a Wonderful Life. Die Hard is also pretty good, although that might be cheating a little bit to call it a Christmas movie (despite it's setting) 
I agree, hopefully everyone has a great holiday season, I know I'm rather excited for all of these finals to be done with...5 of them next week  . We still don't have any snow up here in the PNW either, which is kinda rough, but supposedly it's on the way, snowboarding/skiing season cannot come soon enough.

I agree those movies are great but my fav is White Christmas. Im a sucker for the classics with song and dance. 
Oh and also Miracle on 34th Street!!!

The classics are always good! I've got a sibling >10 years of age in my "homestead" residence while I'm on hiatus from class so those timeless movies are on constant loop somewhere in the house... Although I've decided that I'm achieving "old balls" status as my idea of a "chillax" winter break night has turned into a few select research abstracts, Latin, a bottle of wine, and a fireplace...
I love the Holiday's I've got an odd mix of old and "neotreric" /post-remarriage sections of family to interact with and I have new non-lineage related cousins that are a year younger than myself which is pretty fun.
I do however spending a winter break or two grinding quests whilst the snow blanketed the great yonder...those were the days ^_^
